Our Nelson Schools are lucky to have our bold, brainy, brown, bicultural, bilingual and beautiful children. Historically the bar has been set far too low for Pasifika youth. The Pasifika Trust want to help equip our parents with the tools, knowledge and confidence to ensure our children are respected and able to reach their full potential at school.

Talanoa Ako is an education programme for Pacific parents, families, and communities. The programme supports them to build knowledge and confidence, enabling them to champion their children’s education and learning journey.
